Litigation

The firm offers a variety of litigation systems to assist you in resolving contract disputes arising out of probate, and other contractual cases. Each case will be dealt with specifically depending upon the complexity of the case, number parties involved, and the likely issues involved in the case. The work be carried out by a director of the firm with a paralegal working under their supervision.

The fees will be charged on an hourly basis as follows:

Tahira Iqbal – Solicitor – £275 per hour
Julie Kollman – Paralegal - £145 per hour
Iqra Bibi – Paralegal - £145 per hour

We may also wish to instruct counsel at any stage of your case and if so, disbursements will be incurred for the cost of the barrister. This will range with hourly rates with the barristers between £200 and £400, depending upon the experience and year of call of each of the barristers. These rates are all exclusive of VAT.

If you do issue court proceedings, then Court fee is payable on a scale as follows:
• Any application in the course of proceedings for relief of sanctions or to strikeout cases will incur a court fee of £303 per application
• Our fees will be based upon the hourly rate and the level of work undertaken

We will if required provide you with an estimate of the cost of the case at the outset for initial work and are happy to work with you on a state-by-state basis.
